Likely causes
- Blocked heat exchanger

- Burner problem / wrong air orifice
Test and repair steps
- Warning: A rollout means flame came out of the burner area - find the cause before resetting.
- Inspect intake and exhaust pipes and terminations for blockage (snow, ice, nests).
- Check the condensate trap and drain are clear and primed.
- Inspect burner and heat exchanger; check air orifice is correct (Table 20).
- Reset the switch, then cycle main power or the thermostat off/on for at least 1 second; watch a full firing cycle.
